NIOPDC Denies Rumors on Diesel Price Increase in Iran

The National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) denied rumors of a diesel price hike, emphasizing that any speculation or reports regarding a price increase, attributed to irrelevant officials, are not confirmed.

Following media reports and social media rumors about an imminent rise in diesel prices beyond the transportation sector's allocated share, the company assured the public that such claims are unfounded. It reiterated that no price increase for diesel is planned.

In a statement previously issued by the company, it was clarified that updates to the software and hardware infrastructure at fueling stations are part of the company's routine operations, aimed at improving the quality of fuel delivery services for the public. - Shana
