Egypt's Petrosalam Targets Higher Crude Oil Output

Petrosalam achieved average daily crude oil production of 2,547 barrels per day (bbl/d) and recorded 1.6 million safe working hours, according to Chairman Abdel Hamid Hussein Gewaily.

Gewaily presented the company’s results in the presence of Mohamed Abdel Meguid, Chairman of the General Petroleum Company (GPC), highlighting its exploration and development activities, well and pipeline maintenance programs, production facility upgrades, and plans to increase output.

Petrosalam is also advancing its digital transformation initiatives, strengthening its safety management system, and enhancing integration with GPC to improve operational efficiency and support future production growth.

This came during the general assembly meetings of the company, chaired by Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) CEO Salah Abdel Kerim, to approve its operational results during FY 2025/26.

Petrosalam is an Egyptian oil and gas company engaged in exploration, development, and crude oil production, with activities including well and production-facility operations and maintenance. It works in partnership with the GPC.
