S&P Global Assessment: Saudi Energy Boosts Sustainability Score in 2026

Saudi Energy has strengthened its sustainability performance, scoring 68 in the 2026 S&P Global Sustainability Assessment, a 5 per cent increase from 65 last year. The result puts the company’s sustainability score 66 per cent above the current global average of 41 for utility companies.

The improvement reflects Saudi Energy’s continued efforts to integrate sustainability across its operations, enhance transparency and disclosure, and embed sustainable practices into its corporate activities.

The progress aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and underscores the company’s commitment to further advancing its sustainability performance.
