Economy Minister Calls for Urgent Financing to Rebuild Damaged Iran's SP Facilities

Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance emphasized the need to finance projects aimed at rebuilding damaged facilities at the South Pars gas field, urging relevant executive bodies to cooperate in speeding up implementation.

According to a report by the Pars Oil and Gas Company, Ali Madanizadeh stressed the importance of restoring South Pars' damaged infrastructure and called for accelerating the process of securing and allocating the financial resources these projects require.

He added that given current gas supply constraints, no restrictions or bureaucratic delays should be allowed to hinder financing for this strategic plan. The minister also underscored the need to pursue the necessary mechanisms to facilitate and speed up the financing process, calling for reconstruction efforts to move forward in step with the availability of funding.

Among the key projects underway is the reconstruction of the refinery at South Pars phases 4 and 5, part of a broader effort to restore lost refining capacity and stabilize the field's production chain. - Shana
