Libya's AGOCO Discusses Boosting Cooperation & Increasing Output with Halliburton

Khaled Al-Hassi, a member of Libya's AGOCO Management Committee for Exploration, Production, and Information, met with Khaled Baltamer, a representative of Halliburton, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and expand the range of services provided to the company.

Using modern technologies and specialized expertise

During the meeting, the two parties reviewed current activities and mechanisms to accelerate work pace, supporting operational processes and contributing to increased production rates. The meeting also focused on expanding well services, particularly the maintenance and return to production of shut-in wells using modern technologies and specialized expertise.

Implementing hydraulic fracturing technology

The two sides also discussed enhancing the supply of well testing equipment and studying the feasibility of implementing hydraulic fracturing technology in several selected wells, with the aim of preparing a comprehensive proposal to be submitted to the National Oil Corporation.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties emphasised the importance of continued coordination and developing the partnership to serve the Libyan oil sector. Khaled Baltamer reiterated Halliburton's commitment to intensifying its work and providing the necessary technical support to contribute to increasing the company's production rates.
