Libya’s NOC Reviews Mellitah Projects to Raise Crude Output

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) held a meeting with Mellitah Oil & Gas officials to review the company’s activities and plans to maintain and increase oil production. The meeting was attended by representatives of Italy’s Eni, Mellitah’s foreign partner, along with Libya’s National Oil Well Drilling and Maintenance companies, as well as the Oil Research Center.

Discussions covered Mellitah’s 2026 performance, drilling and production programs, reservoir and geological studies, maintenance activities, and ongoing projects, reviewing strategic projects at onshore fields and offshore platforms, focusing on challenges that could delay their completion and ways to address them to ensure timely delivery and support efforts to increase production.
