Repsol reports performance growth linked to increased oil production in Libyaby MohamedAhmedSat, 25/07/2026 - 19:16ShareTweetRepsol has announced growth in performance of its exploration and production sector during the first half of 2026, supported by increased production and progress on its projects in several countries, including Libya.The company said Libya awarded it two new exploration blocks in the country's first licensing round in nearly two decades, a move that strengthens its presence in the Libyan market alongside its projects in Alaska and Brazil.Repsol reported adjusted net income from exploration and production of €673 million in the first half of the year, with average production rising to 558,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the second quarter. It expects average production to range between 560,000 and 570,000 barrels per day in 2026.
