Libya’s Oil Minister Holds Economic Talks with Japan

Libya’s Oil and Gas Minister Khalifa Abdulsadek has held talks with Japan’s minister for economic and fiscal policy on strengthening economic cooperation during an official visit to Japan.

According to the government platform “Hakomitna”, discussions focused on expanding cooperation in oil and gas, energy, infrastructure and investment, as well as encouraging Japanese companies to return to the Libyan market and explore available opportunities.

Abdulsadek, joined by Economy and Trade Minister Suhail Abu Shiha, said the government is seeking to build closer ties with Japan by offering an attractive investment environment to support technology transfer, economic development and shared interests.
