Israeli Strikes Hit Military Camps, PR HQ & Fuel Facility in Yemen

Israel has launched fresh airstrikes on Yemen, leaving at least 35 people dead and 131 injured, according to the Houthi health ministry. Explosions shook the capital Sanaa, sending thick grey smoke into the sky as residents reported homes damaged in the blasts.

The Israeli military confirmed the strikes, saying its air force targeted “military camps, PR headquarters, and a fuel facility” run by the Houthi group. Israel labeled the Houthis as a “terrorist regime” and said the attacks were part of a wider response to recent assaults.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu doubled down on X, saying: “Anyone who attacks us, anyone who harms us — we will reach them.” He added that Israel had already taken out top Houthi officials in earlier operations.

The attack follows a series of escalations. Just days ago, a drone from Yemen hit Israel’s Ramon Airport, wounding one person. And in August, Israeli strikes killed the Houthi prime minister and other senior leaders — one of the deadliest blows yet in this ongoing conflict. It also marks just a day after their attack in Qatar, where five Hamas members were killed.
