Iranian Experts Manufacture Practical Drilling Items

The Deputy Director of Research, Technology and Construction Engineering of the National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) said: “About 7,200 unique parts used in the drilling industry have been localized in synergy and cooperation with 400 domestic manufacturers so far.”

According to NIDC, Mohammad-Reza Alizadeh Attar on the fourth and last working day of the 13th Khuzestan Oil Industry Equipment Manufacturing Exhibition said: “Paying attention to the emphasis of the NIDC's CEO, 1,072 items of basic parts and equipment were placed in the localization process.”

Stating that the production of these items led to saving more than IRR 443 billion (US$963,043) for the company, he said: “Strengthening cooperation and using the capacities and capabilities of manufacturers, producers, and knowledge-based companies is on the agenda of this administration.” - Shana
