Qatar Cargoes to India Hit 6-Month High


Qatar’s oil exports to India in October jumped to their highest since Middle Eastern producers began to face competition there from an influx of cut-price Russian barrels back in April. Total monthly observed crude and condensate exports were virtually unchanged last month at 901k b/d, or 27.9m bbl. That compares with 902k b/d in September. Exports to India jumped m/m in October to a six-month high of 118k b/d. Shipments to China slumped to 150k b/d, down from 266k b/d in September, which was the highest since August 2020.
