Qatari Energy Ministers Meets Russian, Iraqi Counterparts

HE Saad bin Sherida al-Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs, met in Doha on Tuesday with Nikolai Shulginov, Russia's Minister of Energy. Discussions during the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum Summit, dealt with relations between Qatar and Russia in the field of energy, as well as with issues related to the Forum and to advancing its mission.

Also, al-Kaabi met in Doha on Tuesday with Iraq's Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismaeel, QatarEnergy announced in a statement. Discussions during the meeting, held on the sidelines of the meetings of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, dealt with energy relations and co-operation between Qatar and Iraq, as well as with issues related to the Forum.
