Netherlands Seek to Invest in Iraq

Dutch Ambassador expressed his country’s companies’ desire to implement projects in Basra, according to a media source. “The ambassador held on 30 August 2010 a meeting with Basra Governor Sheltagh Aboud al-Mayah, with whom he discussed ways of boosting bilateral relations and the possibility for the Dutch companies to implement projects in Basra,” the source said. “The diplomat said a Dutch company working in the desalination field will come to Basra soon to discuss investment opportunities in the province,” he added.- Aswat Al Iraq
