Iraq to Build Civil Airport in Dhi Qar


The technical assistant of head of Dhi Qar provincial council, Abdul Hussein Hajar revealed that the Defense Ministry approved to allocate a part of Al Imam Ali air base to build in a civil airport upon the approval of the Transport Ministry. The airport construction requires legal and technical measures in order to be implemented. Airport construction committee at the Transport Ministry visited the air base twice earlier and run-though all technical inspections to make sure the airport is eligible for civil use.- Al Sumaria
