OCTAL Petrochemicals’ PET resin plant was awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certification in recognition of its compliance with quality process standards and effective quality management systems, within just a year of operation. The successful ISO certification was made through Intertek, Sweden, one of the world’s leading providers of quality and safety solutions, and an accredited registrar that performs assessments of management systems against requirements of international standards for quality.
OCTAL was evaluated on its commitment to quality management, proactive approach towards customer satisfaction and continual improvements in all aspects of its resin production.“Although in production for just over a year, OCTAL has established commendable systems and procedures across all of its business functions and manufacturing processes that ensure its commitment to quality management and improvement,” said Brij Malhotra, PET Group Director.
