Kuwait's Nominal GDP Drops in 2009


Kuwait's nominal gross domestic product fell 21.2% last year, following a 22.7% rise in 2008, central bank data showed on Thursday. The nominal GDP of Kuwait, the world's fourth largest oil exporter, dropped to US$109.6 billion in 2009, from US$ billion in the previous year, the data showed. The central bank did not release economic performance in the real terms. - Reuters
