Omantel H1 Profit Announced

Oman Telecommunications Co. (Omantel), said first half profit dropped 16% as expenses increased. Net income fell to US$159 million from US$190 million, the company, known as Omantel, said in a statement on the Muscat bourse Web site.-Bloomberg
