Japan, Algeria Talk Over Bilateral Energy Ties

Minister of Energy and Mining Youcef Yousfi held talks with Japanese Senior Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry Tadahiro Matsushita at the ministry headquarters. The two officials dealt with development of cooperation and partnership in energy namely in hydrocarbons, electricity, and renewable energies, ministry of energy said. In energy industry, Japan is present in Algeria throughout many companies including JGC, one of the biggest oil and gas engineering company. JGC expressed its willingness to make Algeria a pressure point to its deployment worldwide and exporting services to Africa. - APS
