Libya and Azerbaijan on Monday agreed in Tripoli to set up a joint cooperation commission. The agreement stipulates that the commission will be put in charge of intensifying bilateral consultations on the different issues of common interest and coordinating their positions in forums. The agreement reaffirms the need for consolidating relations between Libya and Azerbaijan and for promoting cooperation between the two countries in the areas of economy, trade, industry, finance, investment, education and scientific research, services and infrastructures, housing, oil, gas, energy and water. The agreement also said the two parties agreed on the importance of their cooperation in the political, cultural and legal fields, among other areas.- Ariquejet
