
Iranian Trademark Goods To Be Sold in Kuwait
Head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization Babak Afghahi says Iranian goods will be sold in Kuwait's market. "The Kuwaiti Union of Consumer Co-operative Societies is committed to sell Iranian goods with credible trademarks in Kuwait's market, Afqahi added.
The Iranian official made the remark after he signed a trade and economic a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kuwaiti Deputy Commerce Minister Rashid Al-Sayed Yousef Al-Tabatabaei on the same day.
"The Kuwaiti government is due to review the agreements to prevent extra tax [on imported Iranian goods] and encourage mutual support for the investment and put them (agreements) into practice," Afqahi added. According to Afqahi, the MoU was inked after the 9th meeting of the Iran-Kuwait joint economic committee. "The MoU includes the development of customs cooperation, trade delegations, trade fairs and economic conferences," he concluded. - Press TV
