Iran to Build Power Plants in Ecuador

Iran plans to build two power plants in Ecuador, First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi, said. “Both sides agreed to expand cooperation in all fields,” he said, on the sidelines of his meeting with Ecuadorian First Vice President, Lenin Moreno, in Tehran on 7 March 2010. “Iranian experts will soon start building two power plants in that country,” he added. Oil cooperation was also discussed during the meeting, as the two countries look to strengthen ties. - Tehran Times
