Demand for Refined Products in UAE to Increase

PFC Energy Consultants said that demand for refined products in the UAE will reach 304,000 bpd in the 2010, up from 294,000 bpd in 2009. It is expected that UAE diesel exports will decrease by 3% due to an increased domestic demand. Analysts say that demand for oil in the Middle East could grow by approximately 5% in 2010, surpassing the slight recovery in global demand for energy, with the largest oil exporting governments in the world spending oil export revenues to boost their economies. –Albayan
