Saudi Gasoline Tanker Catches Fire


Ten teams from Makkah Civil Defense succeeded in controlling a fire that erupted from a gasoline tanker carrying 33,000 liters of petrol in Makkah. The blaze reached 30 meters high and gasoline leaked to at least 100 meters away from the truck. Civil Defense teams battled the fire and managed to get it under control before it reached nearby cars and buildings. According to eyewitnesses, the truck suddenly exploded, damaging a nearby bus and car. Civil Defense officials said that no one was injured.- Arab News , Zawya
