Iran, Kuwait to Hold Joint Commercial Committee


The Iranian Deputy Commerce Minister and the Director of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) accompanied by a delegation of private sector traders and businessmen as well as government officials will travel to Kuwait tomorrow in order to sign an MoU during the meeting. The delegation will meet Kuwaiti government and banking officials and figures from the private sector and visit the Shuwaikh Free Trade Zone and major trade areas. In the past 10 months over US$120 million of goods including carpets, livestock, pistachio, stones and iron were exported to Kuwait and US$80 million worth of cars and other products were imported from that country. -Mehr
