Inflation Rate Stood at 11.3% in Iran

According to the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), the alteration of the consumer price index for urban areas in the Iranian month of Bahman (21 January - 20 February 2010) was:

·         0.6 % rise compared to the previous month

·         8.9 % increase compared to the same month the previous year

·          Inflation rate for the year ending Bahman stood at 11.3%.

It is worth mentioning that the inflation rate was 12.2% at the end the Iranian month of Dey 1388 (22 December 2009-20 January 2010). - Abrar-e Eghtesadi
