Egypt, Spain Economy Cooperation


Minister of Trade and Industry, Rashid Mohamed Rashid, heading a businessmen delegation from 70 Egyptian companies, will pay a visit to Spain in early March 2010 to discuss development of economic and trade relations and ways to increase bilateral trade and mutual investment between the two countries.

Rashid said in a statement that intensive meetings are scheduled to be held with a number of ministers and officials including the President of the Spanish Regional Government of Catalonia, Minister of Commerce in Catalonia, Head of Barcelona Commerce Chamber, and a delegation from the Basque regional government in addition to a large group of businessmen headed by the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry as well as the heads of several banks and senior representatives of Spanish companies interested in investing in Egypt. –SPA
