Based on the aim of promoting bilateral ties and trade between Iran and Qatar, a biennial ‘Made in Iran’ exhibition will be launched in May 2010. The exhibition will be a four-day event at the Doha Exhibition Center, according to officials of Maraya Public Relations, the organizers of the expo. “The event will be a continuation of the economic relations between the two countries and bring Iranian products to Qatar,” said Jabor Al Mansori, Chief Executive Officer, Maraya Public Relations.
“It will help increase ties between the countries with support from the Iranian Embassy,” he added. Iranian expos have been successful in Qatar with huge response from both the people and the officials of Qatar, according the Iranian Ambassador to Qatar, Abdullah Soharabi Zahrani. “Both countries have excellent relations with the Heads of State exchanging visits recently followed by many other official visits.
