Iraq Encourages Kuwaiti Investment

The Head of the Finance Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Sadoun, announced that Iraq opens its arms to investments of all kinds, especially investments by Kuwait, hoping that the debt issue is handled through investments in serving the cooperation between the two countries.

"Sadoun explained in a joint news conference with a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee Deputy Massouma al-Mubarak in Kuwait, said that "the security situation deteriorated recently in part, but this is a temporary situation because of the proximity of Iraqi elections and we hope to stabilize the situation…" noting that "economic stability will support the security and stability in Iraq and will lead to improvement." - Investors Iraq
