King Hamad issued a decree amending articles of the decree 78 for 2006 on forming the board of the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) and specifying its duties.Under the amended decree, state-owned companies under NOGA's supervision would be run for a renewable one-year term by the managing board in charge of the Oil and Gas Holding Company. The decree also applies on companies with government-owned stakes exceeding 50%. - Gulf Daily
