Egypt to Increase Local Gas Output

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Sameh fahmy has issued a directive to increase the output of Natural gas into the local markets by a 100,000 cylinders to decrease demand and supply congestion's in the capital and the suburbs. This increase marks an 8% raise of the overall production compared 2009. Local consumption accounts for 50% of the overall natural gas production of the country according the export/consumption ratio agreed on in the country years ago. - Tareeq Al Akhbar
