Kuwaiti KOTC Extends Bid Deadlines

Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC) has extended the deadline for bids submission for the construction of a compound to fill LPG cylinders, estimated at US$100 million, and supposed to be built north of Kuwait, to 2 March 2010.

KOTC, a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, has set 26 January 2010 as a deadline for the qualified companies to present their offers on the basis of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).

KOTC indicated that the extension of the deadline comes after bidders put forward a series of technical questions about the contract, and the company in turn, responded to provide the contractors by new documents for the tender. - Argaam
