Iraq to Import Iranian Gas to Feed Power Plants


An Iraqi delegation is to head for Tehran in early 2010 to sign a deal for the import of Iranian gas. The delegation is to pen a long-term contract to supply gas-based power plants particularly in southern and central Iraq. Talks will focus on construction of a gas pipeline between the two countries. The details of the deal are yet to be announced. - Tehran Times
