Bahrain-Qatar Causeway Rail Deal to Be Signed

German rail and logistics group Deutsche Bahn is set to sign a contract worth 'billions of euros' to build railways in Qatar and Bahrain, said a company spokesman. 'A contract will be signed today with Qatar and the value of the deal will be in the billions of euros,' the spokesman , said.

A German daily had earlier reported that the contract would be worth US$24.8 billion. The contract would include a network in Doha and high-speed lines to Doha airport and to Bahrain.-TradeArabia
