Saudi Electricity Signs Power Plant Contract


Saudi Electricity Co., the state- controlled power producer, signed a contract with Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co. and Arabian Bemco Contracting Co. to tranform a power plant into a combined cycle power facility. The US$1.84 billion project will add 1,241 MW of power to the plant in al-Qurayyah, the Riyadh-based utility provider said in a statement . - Bloomberg
