Saudi Methanol Chemicals Q3 Net Drops 57%

Methanol Chemicals Co., a producer of methanol derivatives also known as Chemanol, said third- quarter profit declined 57% on lower prices and sales. Net income fell to US$1.52 million from US$3.5 million in 2008, the Dammam, Saudi Arabia-based company said in a statement.- Bloomberg
