Saudi Keeps September Oil Supply Steady to Asia, Europe

Saudi Arabia, the world's largest oil exporter, plans to keep crude oil supplies to customers in Asia and Europe steady in September, industry sources said. State firm Saudi Aramco will keep supply to one Asian buyer at 7% to 8% below contracted volumes in September, in line with August, one of the sources said. Sources at two European refiners also said supply would be steady. 'The allocation is normal. There is no change,' a source at a buyer of Saudi crude said. Saudi Arabia, the largest producer in OPEC, has been cutting output since 2008 in line with curbs agreed by the group. OPEC meets to review output on 9 September 2009 in Vienna. One of the sources in Asia added that there had been no changes to operational tolerance for September supplies.- Trade Arabia
