Libya Interested in Eni, Enel investments

Libya is interested in investing in Eni and Enel, Italy's Industry Minister Claudio Scajola said on 11 June 2009 during a visit to Rome by Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

"They are interested, since they have liquidity, in making investments and with the new climate of friendship between Libya and Italy there is a special interest in their making investments in different sectors of Italian industry," Scajola told reporters.- Reuters
