The Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has confirmed that all its facilities are safe and oil and gas production were not affected by the earthquake that occurred at dawn yesterday (June 3), reported the Kuwait News Agency.KOC pointed out that the oil facilities stopped for a short period during the 5.0-magnitude earthquake - that shook the southwest of Kuwait's Al Ahmadi - as a precautionary measure in accordance with the company's safety regulations.All its facilities are equipped with sensors that operate automatically when exposed to any natural disasters, the report added.
