Iraq has raised the February official selling price (OSP) for Basra Light crude for shipment to Asia to US$2.55 a barrel above the average of Oman/Dubai quotes, up 45 cents from the previous month, according to a pricing document seen by Reuters on Thursday. Basra Heavy crude to Asia for the same month has been priced at minus US$1.05 a barrel to Oman/Dubai quotes, up 65 cents.The February Basra Light OSP to the North and South American markets rose 10 cents to US$1.60 a barrel on the Argus Sour Crude Index (ASCI), and the price of Kirkuk to the United States also increased by 10 cents to US$0.70 a barrel on ASCI. For Europe, the February OSP for Basra Light fell US$1.55 below dated Brent to minus US$5.80 a barrel and the February Kirkuk OSP fell to minus US$4.20.
